The Notional Mule: This is the story of Mule, a baby mule born around 1861 in the Flint Hills of Kansas. He travels with his Mammoth Donkey father to Kansas City, Kansas where he is adopted by a man by the name of Badger McCune. Mule’s life is chronicled through a treasured old journal and a painting of a mule found at an auction. It is also the back-story of a favorite character from my Home on the Range series of novels. The format of this book is a little different as it is a story being told within a story. It was released in October of 2021. I hope Mule’s story will be as loved as he is. Age 5-12
