The Final Stages of Publishing a Book

Each time I write a novel, I have “Beta Readers” go through it as part of the editing process. They are looking for content mistakes more than grammar although I want that as well. They are also looking to see if everything flows. I don’t want a choppy book!

Their identities are secret, of course! In addition, they are sworn to secrecy. However, here is the response I received from one of them after going through book #9. So exciting to get a review like this on a manuscript. A manuscript is in word form so is not as easy to read as a book.
“Oh girl!! You did it again!!! Awesome so far! Cannot put it down but have too!! Love, love, love it!

It is absolutely amazing to me how many different yet intertwining story lines there are and each one is so unique and fitting. Your writing just pulls a person in like you are right there, a part of the story!! Awesome Rosie!!!

“I started Sunday evening about 10:00 read until 1:30. Then last night about the same! 2/3’s through it. 5:30 comes too fast so I’ve got to put it down!! But I’m just starting tonight and will probably all but finish it!!! Lol”

Some of you may have caught how I set up book #9 in book #8, The Contract. Here’s to anticipation!
